Academic Advising and Class Registration

All new UT Dallas students, are required to meet with an academic advisor in order to register for classes. Students can register for classes after they are admitted to UT Dallas and all holds are removed(see hold information below). We suggest students meet with an academic advisor prior to attending orientation.

Fall 2014 class registration begins on March 31st.
Summer 2014 class registration begins on April 7th.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid cannot process an award until you are admitted to UT Dallas. Financial Aid recommends you submit the FAFSA and all paperwork at least two weeks before the deadline.  Questions?  Please contact your Financial Aid Counselor today!

Fall 2014 new student financial aid priority processing deadline is March 31st.
Summer 2014 new student financial aid priority processing deadline is March 29th.

Holds

Holds on your account will typically prevent you from registering for classes. Every new UT Dallas student has a hold to meet with their academic advisor prior to registering for classes for the first time.
