The University of Texas at Dallas combines the nurturing environment of a small college with the intellectual rigor and depth of a major research university. We take pride in the success of our students and graduates, who are continuously discovering new knowledge and creating new art that enriches civilization and significantly contributes to our economic and social well being.
Building upon past successes, we continue to grow faster than our current budget, facilities and resources can accommodate. Although state funding has increased, it has not been able to keep pace with our growth over the last several years, and we must seek additional funds in order to hire more faculty and support staff to expand existing academic programs and initiate new ones.
