RELAX

Yes, the Student Union is an active and busy place, but it also provides spaces designed for quieter activities such as relaxation and study. Wireless internet connection is available in common areas throughout the building.

Comet Lounge
The Comet Lounge, located on the second floor, provides a large, comfortable open space with a fireplace to enjoy on those colder, wintry days.

TV Lounge
The TV Lounge on the first floor is truly for lounging. Bean bag chairs and a big screen TV make this lounge the perfect spot to get comfortable. Students also find the TV Lounge a comfortable get away for eating lunch, playing cards or studying together in groups.

Orion Lounge
Prominently displaying the words to UT Dallas' alma mater, the small open lounge on the first floor provides a comfortable spot for reading, study or conversation. During finals week, free back massages are offered to students in this area to help relieve some of their end-of-year stresses.

The Patio
The Patio is one of the most popular "chill-out" spots on campus. Featuring a student-designed wall-size mural that depicts student life at UT Dallas and the surrounding community, The Patio is furnished with shaded outdoor tables and provides a great place for coffee and conversation.

Other Hangouts
Throughout the Union, there are many other nooks and seating areas where patrons can boot up a computer, read a book, or just hang out with friends. We encourage students and others to visit the Union often and take advantage of all it has to offer.
