Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
It was close to home, and I could play soccer.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
The uniqueness it has. It is small with a variety of people with a variety of interests. Very few places can you see someone riding a unicycle to class, or walking around barefoot, or playing on a giant chess set!

List some clubs and organizations you are or have been involved in at UT Dallas.
Women’s Soccer Team and FYL of course!!

What has been your favorite/best experience at UT Dallas so far?
Meeting my two best friends! I feel like these are the friends I will have for life.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
It is a time to open up to new people and experiences and grow, not just a continuance of education.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
I like to get in my PJs in bed and read something that has absolutely nothing to do with the classes I am taking, or just chill with my friends, doing essentially nothing.

Why did you decide to become a First Year Leader (FYL)?
I love to be around people, and help people. Also, I didn’t have a FYL in my first year at UTD, but always thought that would have been cool!

Is there anything you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
I wish I had tried to meet more new people, outside of soccer I didn’t really branch out.

What advice do you have for the incoming freshman class?
Be yourself, don’t get too stressed out, and branch out and make new friends!
