Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
Cost efficiency – AES scholarship

What do you like about UT Dallas?

All the opportunities that it offers for me, and also how everyone knows Zelda.

List some clubs and organizations you are or have been involved in at UT Dallas.

FSA, DEI, A Modest Proposal, The Mercury

What has been your favorite/best experience at UT Dallas so far?

Taking art classes with Pomara and bonding with my closest friends over Zelda.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?

Professors usually don’t care much about you and don’t remember what your name is or who you are.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?

Play on my 3DS! Also have special talking bonding time with my friends.

Why did you decide to become a First Year Leader (FYL)?

I really appreciate everything UTD has done for me, but I learned all of the opportunities in a round-about way, I’m really hoping I can help at least one person who’s new to UTD to take the opportunities right away!

Is there anything you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?

I shouldn’t have taken human genetics or government, I should’ve just went to CCCC for that. I also wish I didn’t buy all my textbooks new.

What advice do you have for the incoming freshman class?

Don’t buy new textbooks. Borrow them or buy used up ones. Sometimes, you don’t even need to buy textbooks since the professor doesn’t even use them.
