Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
I came here for the excellent school, and great soccer program.

What do you like about UT Dallas?

I love how UTD has a completely different culture than any other school. I don’t think that I would have had such a great experience in college if I went to any other school.

List some clubs and organizations you are or have been involved in at UT Dallas.

Longboard Club, Rock Climbing Team, Entrepreneurship Club, Radio UTD, Fencing Club, SEGDA, First Year Leader

What has been your favorite/best experience at UT Dallas so far?

My best experience at UTD has been the ability to meet some fantastic people that are creative, fun, and adventurous, and be involved in their projects.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?

I don’t think I really ever put a ton of thought into where I wanted to go in life in high school. When I came to UTD I learned how to actively search after my dreams and met the right people to get there.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?

That usually varies from day to day. If you catch me unwinding after class you’ll most likely find me; hanging out with friends, skating, or designing.

Why did you decide to become a First Year Leader (FYL)?

I decided to become a FYL because when I was a freshman my FYL and Advisor had a profound impact on me. They taught me many things about how to transition to college, and saved my grades multiple times. I wanted to be able to impact someone else’s life like that.

Is there anything you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?

Not really. I feel much like I did as a freshman, there is never enough time in the day to get to do everything I want to do.

What advice do you have for the incoming freshman class?

Explore, try new things, meet new people, and learn as much as possible. College is what you make it!
