How Do I Get My UTD-ID?

You may now obtain your UTD-ID:

  • in person at any student services office such as the Office of the Registrar or your advising office
  • from your next bill
  • while using the Student Information System (SIS)

Comet Cards will be printed with the UTD-ID for new fall students beginning August 1, 2006. Current card holders may exchange their card for one with the new UTD-ID after October 1st. Your old card must be turned in to receive a new one at no cost.

* Exceptions may apply. Refer to UTD Policy D1-153.0, Social Security Number Confidentiality.

The new UTD-ID will be eight digits that will uniquely identify an individual.
