REWARD

On April 13th and April 15th, 2009 an unknown person(s) forcibly entered into several apartments. Stolen were laptop computers, televisions, cell phones, credit cards, check books, iPods, and gaming systems.

Police Investigating Burglaries in Campus Apartments
April 13 and 15, 2009

Since Monday, three campus apartments have been burglarized by individuals who have kicked or otherwise forced doors open in Phase 7.

No one has been injured. In one case, a student was inside an apartment. All of the incidents have occurred between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Tenants are urged to report unknown individuals or suspicious activity to police at (972) 883-2331. UT Dallas officers are actively investigating these crimes.

Keep valuables out of sight, close blinds during the day, and be alert to your surroundings.

As always, please be aware of your surroundings, keep doors locked when appropriate and report any suspicious activity to the UT Dallas police at 972-883-2331 or dial 911.

  • Walk in groups of two or more
  • Call UT Dallas Police Department for an escort if you have to walk alone at 972-883-2331
  • Have your car keys out and ready when walking to your car or apartment
  • Don't use cell phones or MP3 players while walking alone so you can be aware of your surroundings
