Saturday, 12/03

* UTD Police responded to a fire alarm pull station in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  Investigation revealed it was a false alarm.

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for an active warrant on Floyd Road 
  after being stopped for a traffic violation.


Sunday, 12/04

* UTD Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  A resident reported he was assaulted by a non-affiliated 
  person visiting the apartment.  The victim refused medical treatment 
  and refused to pursue criminal charges.  Two non-affiliated persons 
  were issued Criminal Trespass Warning Citations.  Verbal warnings were 
  issued for possession of alcohol by minors.

 
Monday, 12/05

* A staff member reported the theft of a table from the northwest hallway 
  of the School of Management.  The property was valued at $50.

* A staff member reported property damage to a light pole near 
  Hoblitzelle Hall.


Tuesday, 12/06

* A student reported criminal mischief damage to a vehicle in Waterview 
  Park Apartments.

* A staff member reported receiving a threatening communications in the in 
  the Multi-Purpose building.

 
Thursday, 12/08

* A student reported possible fraudulent activity via U.S. Mail.  Incident 
  referred to Bank of America.


Saturday, 12/10

* A student reported criminal mischief damage to a vehicle in Waterview 
  Park Apartments.

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  in the Student Union.  A non-affiliated person was transported by RFD 
  ambulance to Plano Medical Center.

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  in the Main Gym of the Activity Center.  A non-affiliated person was 
  transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson regional Medical Center.


Sunday, 12/11

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  on the west side of the McDermott Library.  A non-affiliated person was 
  transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

* UTD Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the Waterview 
  Park Apartments, a non-affiliated resident, not on the lease, left the 
  campus without incident.


Monday, 12/12

* A contractor reported the theft of copper from the Centex construction 
  site at the intersection of Rutford Avenue and Synergy Park Blvd.  The 
  property was valued at $20,000.

* A staff member reported the theft of two flat panel monitors from a 
  hallway in the Human Resources Annex.  The property was valued at $800.

* A student reported the burglary of a residence in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  A Playstation 2 gaming console system and accessories were 
  taken from the apartment.  The property was valued at $150.

* A student reported the burglary of a residence in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  A Purse was taken from the apartment.  The purse contained 
  Credit cards, Checkbooks, Identification and Twenty-five dollars.


Tuesday, 12/13

* A student reported a one vehicle accident in the Waterview Park 
  Apartment. Property damage only.

* UTD Police responded to a fire alarm pull station in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  Investigation revealed it to be a false alarm.


Wednesday, 12/14

* A contractor reported the theft of copper from the Centex construction 
  site at the intersection of Rutford Avenue and Synergy Park Blvd.  The 
  property was valued at $100,000.

 
Friday, 12/16

* A staff member reported a suspicious person in the area of the McDermott 
  Library.  UTD Police detained and identified the non-affiliated person, 
  and issued a Criminal Trespass Warning citation.

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for DWI and Possession of Marijuana 
  on Tatum Street after being stopped for a traffic violation.  The 
  non-affiliated driver was issued a court citation for having an open 
  container of an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle.

* UTD Police responded to a report of minors in possession of alcohol at a 
  residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  A student was issued a citation 
  for possession of alcohol by a minor. A student was issued a citation 
  for consumption of alcohol by a minor.  Seven non-affiliated persons were 
  issued Criminal Trespass Warning citations.


Saturday, 12/17

* UTD Police seized two microscopes from a vehicle on Drive L after the 
  vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.  The microscopes were 
  labeled as the property of another university.

 
Sunday, 12/18

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint (loud music) at a 
  residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  Two students were issued court 
  citations for the noise violation.

* A student reported the theft of a vehicle from Waterview Park 
  Apartments. 

* A student was arrested for an active warrant on Drive A after being 
  stopped for a traffic violation.

* A student was arrested for possession of marijuana on Rutford Avenue 
  after being stopped for a traffic violation.


Monday, 12/19

* A student reported a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress at Lot C.  
  UTD Police arrested the non-affiliated suspect for two active warrants 
  from other agencies, Fail to ID Fugitive from Justice, Possession of 
  Marijuana, and Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.

* A student was arrested on Drive A for operating a motor vehicle without 
  a Drivers License after being stopped for a traffic violation.

 
Wednesday, 12/21

* A staff member reported the theft of a flat panel monitor from a 
  reception area in the Engineering and Computer Science building.  The 
  property was valued at $300.

* A staff member reported the theft of a digital camera from an office in 
  the School of Management.  The property was valued at $220.


Thursday, 12/22

* A contractor reported a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in Lot A.  A toolbox 
  containing various tools was stolen from the vehicle.  The property was 
  valued at $575.


Friday, 12/23

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint (loud music) at a 
  residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  Two students were issued court 
  citations for the noise violation.

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a fire in Berkner 
  Hall.  Property damage only.

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for three active warrants on Floyd 
  Road after being stopped for a traffic violation.

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint (loud music) at residence 
  in Waterview Park Apartments.  A non-affiliated person was arrested for 
  active warrants and issued a court citation for Consumption of Alcohol 
  by Minor.  A student was arrested for Furnishing Alcohol to Minors.  The 
  non-affiliated person was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning citation.

* UTD Police detained five non-affiliated persons at the Centex 
  construction site at the intersection of Rutford Avenue and Synergy Park 
  Blvd.  The five non-affiliated persons were issued Criminal Trespass 
  Warning citations.  One non-affiliated person was issued a court 
  citation for possesion of fireworks.  


Saturday, 12/24

* A non-affiliated person was arrested on Lookout Drive for public 
  intoxication.


Monday, 12/26

* A student was arrested for an active warrant on Campbell Road after 
  being stopped for a traffic violation.


Tuesday, 12/27

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for four active warrants and 
  Possession of Marijuana on Drive H after being stopped for a traffic 
  violation.

 
Friday, 12/30 

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for Possession of Marijuana on 
  Waterview Parkway after being stopped for a traffic violation.

* UTD Police observed a vehicle exit Synergy Park Blvd. south off of the 
  roadway and adjacent to the railroad tracks.  The suspicious vehicle 
  fled from the area.  Officers discovered and estinguished a fire at the 
  location.

 
Saturday, 12/31

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint (loud music) at a 
  residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  Four students were issued court 
  citations for the violation.
