* A student was arrested in Lot J for an active warrant after being
stopped for a traffic violation.
* A student reported the burglary of a motor vehicle in Lot D. The
vehicle received damage to the drivers side door. A CD/MP3 player
valued at $50 was taken from the vehicle.
* UTD Police responded to assist a Student Union staff member with a
non-compliant student. The student was escorted out of the building.
Incident referred to the Dean of Students.

Thursday, 02/02
* A student reported the theft of a bicycle from Waterview Park
Apartments.
* A staff member notified the UT Dallas Police Department a gas main
had been ruptured by a private contractor operating a backhoe in the
construction area north of the Central Energy Plant. The gas mane was
patched and sealed by the gas company. UTD Police and Richardson Fire
Department responded to assist. UTD Police closed Rutford Avenue until
the rupture had been sealed.

* A student was arrested for an active warrant in Waterview Park
Apartments after being stopped for a traffic violation.
* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist
at the Waterview Park Apartments Leasing Office. A staff member was
transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

* A non-affiliated person was arrested on Waterview Parkway for driving
with a suspended license, after being stopped for a traffic violation.
Sunday, 02/05
* UTD Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Waterview Park
Apartments. A non-affiliated person was issued a criminal trespass
warning citation and escorted from the campus.
* UTD Police responded to a complaint of an odor of marijuana coming from
a residence in Waterview Park Apartments. A student was arrested for
possession of a dangerous drug and issued a court citation for
possession of drug paraphernalia. A non-affiliated person was issued a
criminal trespass warning citation.
* UTD Police discovered a fraudulent parking permit in a student's vehicle
parked in Lot G.

* A student reported damage to a vehicle parked in Waterview Park
Apartments.
* UTD Police discovered a fraudulent parking permit in a student's vehicle
parked in Lot M.
* A student reported the theft of a backpack from the main gym of the
Activity Center. The backpack contained a textbook, clothing, wallet,
keys, a mobile phone, a paycheck, and fifty-two dollars in cash.

had been taken from the dash of the vehicle.

* A student reported criminal mischief damage to a door at a residence in
Waterview Park Apartments. A sliding glass door had been
intentionally shattered.
* A vehicle was impounded for unpaid citations in Waterview Park
Apartments.
* A non-affiliated person was arrested in Lot B for an active warrant
after being stopped for a traffic violation. A non-affiliated passenger
was arrested for two active warrants.
* UTD Police observed a vehicle in Lot J collide with a dumpster. The
driver of the vehicle was passed out and identified as a student.
The student was arrested for Driving Under the Influence by a Minor
and for an active warrant.

by RFD personnel at the scene.
* UTD Police received a report of a welfare concern in Waterview Park
Apartments. Incident referred to the Dean of Students.
* A student reported a burglary of a motor vehicle in Lot J. The driver
side window was smashed and a purse taken from the vehicle. The purse
contained a wallet, a digital camera, checkbook, and three credit cards.
The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $250.

Two monitors were forcibly removed from the seat headrests

non-affiliated person was transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson
Regional Medical Center.

floor lobby of Cecil Green Hall. The backpack contained two textbooks.

Apartments. The apartment windows had not been secured. A laptop
computer, XBOX gaming console and XBOX accessories were taken from the
apartment. The stolen property was valued $1870.

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint at a residence in
Waterview Park Apartments. A student was issued a citation for the
loud noise violation. Three students were issued citations for
consumption of alcohol by minor.
* A student reported the theft of a laptop computer from a residence
in Waterview Park Apartments. The apartment had been left unsecured.
The stolen property was valued at $1240.

* A student reported an aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault in
Waterview Park Apartments by a known non-affiliated person.
Investigation revealed the incident to be unfounded.

Waterview Park Apartments to assist Leasing Office staff with a snake in
the apartment. A student was issued a court citation for possession of
alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Park Apartments. A student reported an incident of assault and
disorderly conduct. The victim refused to pursue criminal charges.

Bookstore. An injured staff member was assisted to the Health Center
in the Student Union for treatment.

medical treatment.

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for possession of marijuana
on Waterview Parkway after being stopped for a traffic violation.
* A student reported the theft of a designer purse from a classroom in
Jonsson Hall. The purse contained a designer wallet, credit cards,
identification, and three hundred dollars. The stolen property was
valued at $1000.
* A student was arrested in Waterview Park Apartments for Consumption of
Alcohol by Minor and Public Intoxication.

* UTD Police detained a non-affiliated person and a student unloading a
DART bus stop bench from a vehicle in Waterview Park Apartments. The
