* A non-affiliated person was arrested on an outstanding warrant, after 
  being contacted in the Waterview Park Apartments, building 67.  The 
  individual was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning citation.

* UTD Police and Richardson Animal Control responded to a residence in
  Waterview Park Apartments to assist Leasing Office staff with a snake in 
  the apartment.  A student was issued a court citation for possession of 
  alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* UTD Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Waterview
  Park Apartments.  A student reported an incident of assault and 
  disorderly conduct.  The victim refused to pursue criminal charges.
  Incident referred to the Dean of Students.

Thursday, 03/02

* UTD Police responded to a medical assist on the west side of the 
  Bookstore.  An injured staff member was assisted to the Health Center
  in the Student Union for treatment.

* UTD Police responded to a injured person on the west side of the 
  McDermott Library.  The student had sustained minor injuries and refused 
  medical treatment.

* UTD Police detained and identified four non-affiliated persons in 
  Waterview Park Apartments for unauthorized solicitation.  The 
  four non-affiliated persons were issued criminal trespass warning 
  citations.

Friday, 03/03

* A staff member reported the theft of a hat from a bicycle on the
  west side of the McDermott Library.

Saturday, 03/04

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for possession of marijuana
  on Waterview Parkway after being stopped for a traffic violation.

* A student reported the theft of a designer purse from a classroom in 
  Jonsson Hall.  The purse contained a designer wallet, credit cards, 
  identification, and three hundred dollars.  The stolen property was 
  valued at $1000.

* A student was arrested in Waterview Park Apartments for Consumption of 
  Alcohol by Minor and Public Intoxication.  


Sunday, 03/05

* UTD Police detained a non-affiliated person and a student unloading a 
  DART bus stop bench from a vehicle in Waterview Park Apartments.  The 
  student was identified as a member of the ZBT fraternity.  DART Police
  responded and took possession of the stolen property.  Incident referred
  to DART Police and the Dean of Students.

Monday, 03/06

* UTD Police responded to the Student Union in reference to an unattended 
  child.  The child was released to a parent.

Tuesday, 03/07

* A staff member reported the theft of a laptop from an office in the 
  School of Management.  The stolen property was valued at $1599.

* A student was arrested in Waterview Park Apartments for Possession of 
  Marijuana and for an active warrant.

Wednesday, 03/08

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist
  at the Natural Science and Engineering Research building.  A contractor
  was transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

* A student reported the theft of a bicycle from Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  The stolen property was valued at $100.  The victim
  refused to pursue criminal charges.

Thursday, 03/09

* A student reported the theft of a bicycle from Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  The stolen property was valued at $200.

Monday, 03/13

* UTD Police observed three suspicious persons behind the West Tech 
  building.  Two persons were identified as students and one as an 
  alumnus.  No criminal offense was found to have occurred.

* Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist at the UTD 
  Police Station.  A staff member was transported by RFD ambulance to 
  Richardson Regional Medical Center.  

* UTD Police initiated an investigation of False Report to a Peace 
  Officer in reference to criminal offenses reported by a student.

Tuesday, 03/14

* A student reported the theft of a wallet from an unsecured locker in a
  locker room of the Activity Center.  The wallet contained a credit card, 
  identification, and $140.

* A student reported a two vehicle hit and run accident in Waterview
  Park Apartments.

* UTD Police discovered graffiti on a utility box in Waterview Park
  Apartments.

* A one vehicle accident occurred on Rutford Avenue.  Property damage 
  only.

* A student was arrested for seven active warrants on Lookout Drive
  after being stopped for a traffic location.

Wednesday, 03/15

* UTD Police responded to a welfare concern, the student was 
  transported to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

* UTD Police detained and identified two non-affiliated persons in 
  Waterview Park Apartments for unauthorized solicitation. The two 
  non-affiliated persons were issued criminal trespass warning citations.

* UTD Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Waterview Park 
  Apartments. A non-affiliated person was issued a criminal trespass 
  warning citation and escorted from the campus.

  driver-side window was smashed and a stereo was taken from the vehicle.  
  The total value of the stolen property was estimated at $50.

* A non-affiliated person reported criminal mischief damage to a vehicle
  in Lot A.  The damage to the vehicle was valued at $2000.

* UTD Police impounded a vehicle for unpaid citations in Waterview
  Park Apartments.

* A student reported the theft of a vehicle from Waterview Park 
  Apartments. The student also reported an unlicensed handgun, which was 
  kept secured in the vehicle, was stolen along with the vehicle.  Garland 
  Police Department recovered the stolen vehicle, the handgun was not in 
  the vehicle.
