Tuesday, 10/03 * UTD Police responded to a complaint of illegal drug use in a residence of Waterview Park Apartments. A student was arrested for possession of marijuana and issued a court citation for possession of alcohol by minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Two other students were each issued court citations for possession of alcohol by minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia. * UTD Police impounded a vehicle for unpaid citations in Lot J. * A student reported the theft of clothing from a laundry room in Waterview Park Apartments. * A student reported the theft of a purse from a classroom in Founders North. The purse was recovered near the area with $8 missing. Friday, 10/06 * UTD Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Waterview Park Apartments. A non-affiliated person was arrested for Assault (Family Violence). * A student reported the theft of a vehicle accessory from a vehicle in Lot D. * A staff member reported a suspicious person on the fifth floor of the Jonsson Building. The non-affiliated person was located, identified, and issued a criminal trespass warning citation. * A staff member reported an attempted theft of a wallet and keys from an office in Callier Center North. The suspect dropped the items and fled from the building when noticed by the staff member. The suspect was described as black male, about 5.07., 20.s, wearing a black T-shirt with white writing and dark colored jeans. The witness said the suspect was carrying what appeared to be a two-way radio. * UTD Police responded to a two vehicle accident in Lot K. Saturday, 10/07 * UTD Police responded to a fire alarm pull station in Waterview Park Apartments. Investigation revealed it was a false alarm. * UTD Police responded to a four vehicle accident in Waterview Park Apartments. No injuries were reported. Monday, 10/09 * A student reported damage to the lock of a residence in Waterview Park Apartments. No property was reported missing. * A faculty member reported the theft of a laptop computer from an office in the Founders building. The stolen property was valued at $1000. Tuesday, 10/10 * UTD Police responded to a two vehicle accident on Lookout Drive west of the intersection with Floyd Road. No injuries were reported. * A student reported a hit and run accident at the Callier Center South parking lot. A student was struck in the back by an object shot from a sling shot. UTD Police identified the suspect. The victim declined to pursue criminal charges. Incident referred to the Dean of Students. Friday, 10/13 * UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist at a residence in Waterview Park Apartments. A student was transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson Regional Medical Center. * A student reported the theft of a wallet from a residence in Waterview Park Apartments. The wallet contained a debit card, driver's license, Comet Card and voter registration card. Saturday, 10/14 * UTD Police observed three intoxicated persons in a parking area of Waterview Park Apartments. Three students were issued court citations for Consumption of Alcohol by Minor. One Student and one non-affiliated person were arrested for Possession of Marijuana. * A non-affiliated person was arrested for three active warrants in Lot K after being stopped for a traffic violation. A student was examined by paramedics at the scene. The student refused medical transport.
