* UTD Police discovered criminal mischief damage to a vehicle parked in 
  Waterview Park Apartments, and contacted the owner of the vehicle.  The 
  student said there were no items missing from the vehicle.

 
Monday, 10/02

* A student reported the theft of a motor vehicle from Waterview Park 
  Apartments.

 
Tuesday, 10/03

* UTD Police responded to a complaint of illegal drug use in a residence 
  of Waterview Park Apartments.  A student was arrested for possession of 
  marijuana and issued a court citation for possession of alcohol by 
  minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Two other students were 
  each issued court citations for possession of alcohol by minor, and 
  possession of drug paraphernalia.

* UTD Police impounded a vehicle for unpaid citations in Lot J.

* A student reported the theft of clothing from a laundry room in 
  Waterview Park Apartments.

* A student reported the theft of a purse from a classroom in Founders 
  North.  The purse was recovered near the area with $8 missing.

 

Friday, 10/06

* UTD Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  A non-affiliated person was arrested for Assault (Family 
  Violence).

* A student reported the theft of a vehicle accessory from a vehicle in 
  Lot D.

* A staff member reported a suspicious person on the fifth floor of the 
  Jonsson Building.  The non-affiliated person was located, identified, 
  and issued a criminal trespass warning citation.

* A staff member reported an attempted theft of a wallet and keys from an 
  office in Callier Center North.  The suspect dropped the items and fled 
  from the building when noticed by the staff member.  The suspect was 
  described as black male, about 5.07., 20.s, wearing a black T-shirt with 
  white writing and dark colored jeans.  The witness said the suspect was 
  carrying what appeared to be a two-way radio.

* UTD Police responded to a two vehicle accident in Lot K.  No injuries 
  were reported.
 
* A student reported criminal mischief damage to a vehicle in Waterview 
  Park Apartments.

 
Saturday, 10/07

* UTD Police responded to a fire alarm pull station in Waterview
  Park Apartments.  Investigation revealed it was a false alarm.
 
* UTD Police responded to a four vehicle accident in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  No injuries were reported.

 
Monday, 10/09

* A student reported damage to the lock of a residence in Waterview Park
  Apartments.  No property was reported missing.

* A faculty member reported the theft of a laptop computer from an office 
  in the Founders building.  The stolen property was valued at $1000.

 
Tuesday, 10/10

* UTD Police responded to a two vehicle accident on Lookout Drive west of 
  the intersection with Floyd Road.  No injuries were reported.

* A student reported a hit and run accident at the Callier Center South 
  parking lot.  No injuries were reported.

Thursday, 10/12

* A non-affiliated person was arrested on Waterview Parkway for two active 
  warrants after being stopped for a traffic violation. 

* A student reported criminal mischief damage to a vehicle in Lot C.

* A student reported an assault which occurred in Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  A student was struck in the back by an object shot from a 
  sling shot.  UTD Police identified the suspect.  The victim declined to 
  pursue criminal charges.  Incident referred to the Dean of Students.

Friday, 10/13

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  at a residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  A student was transported 
  by RFD ambulance to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

* A student reported the theft of a wallet from a residence in Waterview 
  Park Apartments. The wallet contained a debit card, driver's license, 
  Comet Card and voter registration card.


Saturday, 10/14

* UTD Police observed three intoxicated persons in a parking area of 
  Waterview Park Apartments. Three students were issued court citations 
  for Consumption of Alcohol by Minor. 


Sunday, 10/15

* UTD Police responded to a complaint of loud noise and underage drinking 
  at a residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  Three students were issued 
  court citations for Consumption of Alcohol by Minor.  Two students were 
  issued court citations for Possession of Alcohol by Minor. Two 
  non-affiliated persons were issued criminal trespass warning citations. 
  One Student and one non-affiliated person were arrested for Possession 
  of Marijuana.

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for three active warrants in Lot K
  after being stopped for a traffic violation.


Monday, 10/16

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  at Founders North building.  A staff member was transported by RFD 
  ambulance to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

* A non-affiliated person was arrested for two active warrants after being
  stopped for a traffic violation on Drive C.

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  at the Activity Center.  A student was examined by paramedics at the 
  scene.  The student refused medical transport.

Tuesday, 10/17

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  at Waterview Park Apartments.  A student was transported by RFD 
  ambulance to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

Wednesday, 10/18

* A student reported a two vehicle hit & run accident in Lot D.  No 
  injuries were reported.

* A student reported receiving harassing communications at Waterview Park
  Apartments.

* A student reported a two vehicle hit & run accident in Waterview Park
  Apartments.  No injuries were reported.

Thursday, 10/19

* UTD Police responded to a complaint of solicitation in Waterview Park
  Apartments.  A non-affiliated person was issued a criminal trespass 
  warning citation.

* A student reported the theft of items from an unattended backpack in the 
  McDermott Library.  The missing property included a textbook, driver 
  license, credit card, and $15.  The stolen property was valued at $120.  
  The stolen credit card was used at business located off campus.

  in Lot K.


Saturday, 10/21

* UTD Police responded to a complaint of loud noise and underage drinking 
  at a residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  Three students and three 
  non-affiliated persons were issued court citations for consumption of 
  alcohol by minor.  One student was arrested for furnishing alcohol to 
  minors.

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint at a poll in Waterview 
  Park Apartments.  Fifteen students were issued citations for the 
  violation.

* Two students reported the theft of clothing from a clothes dryer at a 
  "Clothes Care Center" in Waterview Park Apartments.  The stolen property 
  was valued at $157.

Tuesday, 10/24

* Officers accompanied Residential Life staff to an apartment in Ph 8 of 
  the Waterview Park Apts. in reference to unauthorized guests.  Two 
  non-affiliated subjects were arrested for out standing traffic warrants 
  and four other non-affiliated subjects were asked to leave the area.

* A student reported a theft which occurred in the Activity center 
  locker room.


Thursday, 10/26

* Officers responded to a loud noise complaint in Ph 8 A of the Waterview 
  Park Apts.; two students and one non-affiliated subject were arrested 
  for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor. Five students were issued City citations 
  for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.


Friday, 10/27

* Non-criminal damage was reported to two vehicles parked in Lot M.

* Officers responded to a loud noise complaint in Ph 1 of the Waterview 
  Park Apts.; a non-affiliated subject was arrested for Furnishing Alcohol 
  to a Minor and four students were issued city citations for Consumption 
  of Alcohol by a Minor.

* Officers responded to a loud noise complaint in Ph 2 of the Waterview 
  Park Apts.; one student was arrested for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor 
  and for possessing a fake driver.s license, 1 student and 2 non-affiliated 
  subjects were issued city citations for Consumption of Alcohol by a 
  Minor.


Saturday, 10/28

* Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle at Point North Park and a 
  non-affiliated minor was issued a City citation for Possession of a 
  Tobacco Product under the age of 18 years old and Possession of Drug 
  Paraphernalia.

* Officers responded to a fire alarm in Ph 6 of the Waterview Park Apts., 
  where the sprinklers were activated; a resident hung something from the 
  sprinkler setting it off, there was no fire.
