* A student reported a criminal fire was started at a building in 
  Waterview Park Apartments.  The fire was extinguished prior to the 
  arrival of Police.  Minor property damage only.

Saturday, 09/02

* A student was arrested for consumption of alcohol by minor in Lot J.

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist
  for an intoxicated student on a chartered bus in Lot J.  The student 
  was transported to Richardson Regional Medical Center.

Sunday, 09/03

* A non-affiliated person was arrested in Lot D for an outstanding warrant 
  after being stopped for a traffic violation.

* A student was arrested on Waterview Parkway after being stopped for a 
  traffic violation.  The student was arrested for violating 
  conditions of a Texas Occupational Driver's License.

Monday, 09/04

* A two vehicle accident occurred on Drive A.  Property damage only.
  A student was issued a court citation for no insurance and failure to 
  yield right of way.

Tuesday, 09/05

* A staff member reported the theft of $95 and a DVR hard drive from a 
  safe in the Activity Center.  

* UTD Police responded to a disturbance in Lot F.  A non-affiliated person
  was issued a court citation for disorderly conduct, and issued a 
  criminal trespass warning citation.


Wednesday, 09/06

* UTD Police responded to a report of graffiti on the Visual Arts 
  Building.  A student was arrested for the felony offense.


Thursday, 09/07

* A student reported criminal mischief damage to a vehicle in Waterview
  Park Apartments.

Friday, 09/08

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint in a parking lot of 
  Waterview Park Apartments.  A student was issued a court citation for 
  the loud noise violation and for possession of alcohol by minor.

* Officers responded to a loud noise complaint at a residence in Waterview
  Park Apartments.  Two students and two non-affiliated persons were 
  issued court citations for consumption of alcohol by minor.  A student
  resident was issued a court citation for the noise violation and 
  arrested for furnishing alcohol to minors.

Sunday, 09/10

* A Residential Life Peer Advisor reported finding marijuana on the ground 
  between Waterview Park Apartments and the Practice Tee fence.  The 
  substance was collected and placed into Evidence at the UTD Police 
  Station.

* A student was arrested on Drive A for an active warrant after being 
  stopped for a traffic violation.


Monday, 09/11

* UTD Police located a fraudulent parking permit on a vehicle in Waterview 
  Park Apartments.  A parking citation was issued on the vehicle for the 
  violation, and the fraudulent permit was confiscated from the student 
  violator.

* Two students reported in incident of disorderly conduct (indecent 
  exposure) at a pool in Waterview Park Apartments.  The suspect had
  left the area prior to the arrival of Officers.  Witnesses described
  the suspect as a white male, Late 20's to  early 30's, 5'11" - 6'1" 
  tall, 160 - 170 pounds, Tan, but not muscular, medium build, with short 
  straight dark brown hair.

* A student reported the theft of an IPOD from the women's restroom of the 
  Arts and Technology building.  The stolen property was valued at $300.

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist
  at UTD Soccer Field #2.  The injured student refused medical transport.

Tuesday, 09/12

* A staff member reported criminal fire damage to a Dining Services 
  vehicle parked at the Student Union dock.  Minor property damage only.

* A faculty member reported the theft of a digital scale from a science 
  lab in the Berkner building. The stolen property was valued at $300.

Wednesday, 09/13 

* UTD Police responded to a trash can fire at the south mall entrance of 
  the Multi-Purpose Building.  The fire was extinguished by the Police 
  Department. The trash can was the only property damage.

Thursday, 09/14

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a fire at a 
  residence in Waterview Park Apartments.  A student was treated and 
  by RFD personnel released on scene for smoke inhalation.  There was 
  property damage to the apartment.

* UTD Police discovered graffiti on a concrete slab southwest of
  the Founders Building.

Friday, 09/15

* UTD Police responded to a welfare concern in the Student Union.
  A student was transported by UTD Police to a hospital in Dallas.


Saturday, 09/16

* During a traffic stop on Drive L, a student passenger in the vehicle was 
  issued a court citation for consumption of alcohol by minor.  Richardson 
  Fire Department responded and transported the student to Richardson 
  Regional Medical Center.

* A student was arrested on Drive A for Driving While Intoxicated after 
  being stopped for reckless driving.

* A student was observed walking with a bottle of beer on Drive A 
  and was issued a citation for possession of alcohol by minor.

* A non-affiliated person reported the burglary of a vending machine in 
  Cecil Green Hall.  Cash was missing from the machine.

* A staff member reported the burglary of a vending machine in 
  a break room of the Multi-Purpose Building.  Cash was missing from
  the machine.

* A non-affiliated person reported a burglary of a class room in Cecil 
  Green Hall. No property was discovered missing from the room.

* A student reported non-criminal property damage to a vehicle parked in  
  Waterview Park Apartments.  The rear window appeared to have been
  shattered by a golf ball.

Sunday, 09/17

* A student reported the theft of a bicycle secured on a bike rack in
  Waterview Park Apartments.  The stolen property was valued at $100.


Monday, 09/18

* A staff member reported the burglary of an office in the Multi-Purpose
  Building.  Forty-one dollars was missing from the office.

* A staff member reported the burglary of an office suite in Founders 
  North building.  No property was discovered missing from the rooms.


Tuesday, 09/19

* A staff member reported the theft of a payroll check from an office
  at Callier Center south campus in Dallas.

* UTD Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  A non-affiliated person was identified and issued a 
  criminal trespass warning citation.

* A student reported a theft of a backpack from the pool table area of the 
  Student Union.  The backpack contained a laptop computer valued at $800.

* A student was arrested for an active warrant at the UTD Police Station.

Wednesday, 09/20

* UTD Police impounded a vehicle for unpaid citations in Waterview 
  Park Apartments.

* UTD Police impounded a vehicle for unpaid citations in Waterview 
  Park Apartments.

* A non-affiliated person reported a suspicious person in a vehicle near
  Lookout Drive and Lot B.  The reporting person described the vehicle
  as a late model, 4-door sedan, silver.  The driver was described as
  a white male, blonde hair, late 40's, no facial hair, and wearing a 
  short-sleeve, brightly colored shirt.  

Thursday, 09/21

* A student reported a theft from an office in the Student Union 
  Building.  A gavel, I-Pod accessory, and two compact discs were
  missing from the office.  The stolen property was valued at $57.00.


Friday, 09/22

* A staff member reported the theft of a laptop computer from a conference 
  room in Founders North.  The stolen property was valued at $1200.

* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a complaint of an 
  intoxicated person in the breezeway of a building at Waterview Park 
  Apartments.  The student was transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson
  Regional Medical Center, and was issued a court citation for public
  intoxication.

* A non-affiliated person reported the burglary of a motor vehicle in the 
  Athletic Field gravel lot which occurred on 9-6-2006.  Fifty dollars and 
  two credit cards were taken from the vehicle. 

* UTD Police located a fraudulent parking permit on a vehicle in 
  Waterview Park Apartments.  A parking citation was issued on the 
  vehicle for the violation.  Incident referred to the Dean of Students.


Saturday, 09/23

* UTD Police identified the driver of a suspicious vehicle between the 
  Bookstore and the McDermott Library.  The non-affiliated person was 
  issued a court citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and issued
  a criminal trespass warning citation.

Sunday, 09/24

* A student was arrested for public intoxication at the intersection of 
  Drive A and Rutford Avenue.

Monday, 09/25

* A staff member of the UTD Police Department reported the theft of 
  two lights from a police bicycle secured near the Multi-Purpose 
  Building.

* A staff member reported the theft of PC DVD writer from an office 
  in the Jonsson Building.  The stolen property was valued at $150.

* UTD Police responded to a trash can fire in an office at the 
  Multi-Purpose building.  The fire was extinguished prior to the
  arrival of Officers.  There was minor damage to the trash can and 
  surrounding carpet area.

* A student reported the theft of license plates from a  motorcycle 
  parked in Lot F.

* A staff member reported a two vehicle hit and run accident in the 
  parking area behind the Facilities Management building.
 
* UTD Police and Richardson Fire Department responded to a medical assist 
  in Lot H.  A student was transported by RFD ambulance to Richardson 
  Regional Medical Center.


Friday, 09/29 

* UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint at a residence in 
  Waterview Park Apartments.  A student received a court citation for the 
  violation.

* UTD Police discovered graffiti on the southwest door of the Founders 
  building. 

* UTD Police responded to a welfare concern check at residence in 
  Waterview Park Apartments.


Saturday, 09/30

* A student reported the theft of a digital camera from an organization 
  booth at the Sounds of Class event in the grass field east of Lot G.  
  The camera and memory card were valued at $135.
