Warrior SMART

In collaboration with the Center for BrainHealth, UT Dallas student veterans have the opportunity to attend SMART (Strategic Memory Advanced Reasoning Training), free of charge. The training is designed to help equip individuals with the tools needed to improve thought processes and brain health. Students complete the eight-hour training over the course of three weeks. Visit the VSC at MC 1.204 to sign up. Space is limited.

Sessions will be held Thursdays, Nov. 7, 14 and 21


Got Your 6 (GY6)

GY6 is a program held each Monday at the Veteran Services Center. Services include a financial planner, a VA attorney, health and wellness providers, and academic/career coaches. Visit the VSC at MC 1.204 to sign up. Space is limited.

Professional Development for Veterans

In collaboration with the Career Center and the Jindal School of Management, the Professional Development series offers workshops for veterans to ensure their success in the workforce. Topics will include: resume and cover letter writing, skills assessment, interviewing and networking, dressing for success, business etiquette, and executive forums and panels. Visit the VSC at MC 1.204 to sign up. Space is limited.

Meet, Relax & Eat Socials (MRE)

MRE events give student veterans the opportunity to mix and mingle with other student, staff and faculty veterans within their academic programs. Details can be found on the Comet Calendar or by visiting the VSC.
