MISSION
The LEEP Initiative exists to advance the mission of UT Dallas by nurturing a safe and inclusive environment that values and celebrates the sexual orientation and gender identity/expression of students, staff and faculty.
VISION
We envision UT Dallas as a safe and equitable environment, where students, staff and faculty of all sexual orientations and gender identities/expression are included, respected and valued for their contributions to make UT Dallas the nation's best public research university and one of the greatest universities in the world.
OBJECTIVES
- Promote an understanding that discrimination is hurtful to everyone
- Increase visibility of the LGBTQ and ally campus community by sharing ideas and involvement without fear of judgment
- Increase awareness of LGBTQ issues
- Promote workplace equity
- Facilitate educational growth in a climate of mutual respect
