On November 7th, 2007 the Saint Louis Regional Chapter of the Association for Women in Science held its second "Women into Science" day. Approximately 120 St. Louis city high school girls came to the Washington University Danforth and Medical Campuses to participate in science related activities. As part of the day the chemistry department hosted several activities including making nylon and demonstrations of the properties of liquid nitrogen. Here are a few pictures of the day:
