REDMOND, Ore. - A country swing dance ended in a woman's death after she
landed on her head when her partner tried to flip her.

[***], 37, of Redmond, Ore., was dancing with a friend after a
Waylon Jennings concert when the accident occurred.

``I'm still in shock over it,'' said [***]'s sister.

``She was a tiny thing, about 110 pounds and only 5 feet 2. The guy
was about twice her size. She really came down hard.''

[***], an avid country music fan, had gone to the March 21 concert in
nearby Prineville with a female friend who had won a pair of tickets.

[***] was declared brain dead last Monday and taken off life support
at a Bend hospital. Burial was Saturday in Murrieta, Calif.

NOTE: Out of respect for the deceased dancer and the privacy of her family, her name is not mentioned and the instances of her name in the news post are replaced with [***].
