A Least Tern (Sternula antillarum) was flying over the lake at Oak Point Nature Preserve around 7:15 AM. I was only able to get a single poor quality picture from across the lake. My first record of this species for the park. |

Another surprise was an Olive-sided Flycatcher (Contopus cooperi) in Bob Woodruff Park, in the same place I found one (perhaps the same individual?) on June 1. |
|
Near the Outdoor Learning Center I found a molting Wheel Bug (Arilus cristatus). These bugs have a striking orange color when they emerge, turning gray later. | |
