Feeling a little chained by life?

I began designing this page from off-the-shelf word processing software. I started with a blank sheet. I then became tired of that and switched to a web page designer package. Many of these packages automatically place their own graphic and link info directly on the page--like you really want all that extra stuff on it, and you are to somehow worship them for doing so (that just annoys the snot out of me!).

Anyway, welcome to an eclectic world of interesting phenomena! Check us out and leave with a greater sense of wisdom and humor. Comments are welcome, too. Just keep the language civil, if not humorous (adults, like me, may be reading your stuff, and might have a hard time understanding it).

The site is sprinkled liberally throughout with sounds and effects. I tried to keep them small so that page loading time is not adversly affected. The different effects are designed to offer certain mood alterations. For example, this page has a rather depressing, melancholiness about it. As a matter of fact, while I was sitting here typing this, I contemplated doing serious physical bodily harm to myself. I quickly got over it, of course, since I did, indeed, publish this page.
