Interface Summary

I set out trying to think of the easiest way to make an interface both
easy to use and powerful. After sitting around thinking about it for a
long time, I was struck with an idea. Why not display the entire site
plan and just make every page clickable from there? Thats both easy,
organized, and lets the user go anywhere he desires in just one click.
So then I started tackling the problem of how to make it look good.
Then I was struck with another idea, actualy make it a tree! Or, more
specifically, a treehouse in a tree. Here is a very rough sketch of
what I'm thinking:

That will just go on the left side of my site. The different rooms will
be labeled with big readable handwritten signs. When the user rolls over
a room (button) it will light up so the user knows it's clickable. The
room the user is currently on will have light coming out the windows.
The white box on the left is where all the page's content will be. When
the user scrolls, the tree will stay stationary, as if it was just a
background image, while the white box will scroll up and down.

I've never heard of a site having an interface like this before so i
had trouble finding any examples on the internet :\
