The best efforts of mankind are rarely made by individuals. Instead, they are accomplished through the mutual cooperation of multiple people, working towards a common goal. Ideal collaborative agreements, however, are not always possible. It becomes necessary in these situations to form agreements with conditional understandings. Our research group focuses on developing algorithms which can take advantage of and adapt to these agreements, while maintaining a level of appropriate distrust of existing partners.
