9/2/04 Some of you have asked about the exam I
format. As the exam structure and the textbook are both
new, there are no good
model exams to show you. Dr. Dieckmann has posted LAST YEAR's exam

but be aware that it covers topics NOT in Chs. 1-3
of the fourth edition.
Those are the only chapters you are responsible for for Exam I.
9/1/04 Some of you have asked about the pdf files. To
view them you need Adobe Reader (Acrobat
reader). You can
download this from http://www.adobe.com
but you must be careful to get
the version
appropriate to your computer.
