I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey. We lived in the old part of the city until I graduated from college and then we moved to the western suburbs to relieve my father from his long commute. I have always missed living there, since the day I moved away.

I like reading, movies, photography and traveling. I am currently developing the photography section of this website to post some pictures. I frequently visit Shutterbug for reviews, buying guides as well as photography tips and techniques. PhotoSIG is another favorite. It is a larger community of professional and amateur photographers who share information about their work and their techniques.

I am married and we are expecting our first baby in June 2007.
