My current research can be characterized
as system level design and I lead a very intense research of
Embedded and Adaptive Computing Group. Research in Embedded
and Adaptive Computing group is centered around few very
inter-related topics. Most of the research projects require
development of ARCHITECTURES, design of ALGORITHMS, and implementation
of APPLICATIONS. Our current activities are listed below. For
more detailed information, please visit projects webpages for
description of current and past projects.
- Architecture and CAD for field programmable
gate arrays.
- Biomedical Circuits and Systems
- Medical Devices
- Ambient Intelligence.
As a personal note, I would
like to add that we are most interested in full system level
solutions. This can involve developing architectures, their
implementation (prototyping), developing algorithms and tools
for using architectures, and testing applications. Therefore,
we operate at all levels of abstraction. Future students should
look at this as an opportunity to work on large scale multi-investigator
systems level projects.
