IGCP Project 482/489 - Geodynamics of the East African Rift System / Geophysical Characteristics and Evolution of the South-Western Branch of the East African Rift System

This project was approved at the General Meeting of the UNESCO/IGCP in October 2002. It will integrate studies of the mature East African Rift with those of the more juvenile southwestern branch. Those interested are invited to an initial meeting and scientific session, contact details as given in the 1st Circular and Call for Papers .
