Eric Zheng

   

Zhiqiang (Eric) Zheng, associate professor in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at the School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to joining UTD in Fall 2006, he was an assistant professor in the Business School at the University of California at Riverside from 2003 to 2006.

He received his Ph.D. in information systems from the Department of Operations and Information Management at the Wharton School in 2003. Previously he received a M.A. from the Wharton school in Operations and Information Management and a M.S. from the Shanghai Jiaotong University in Industrial Management Engineering. His B.S. is in Management Information Systems from Harbin Institute of technology.

His current research interests include data mining, IT innovation and IT standards, social network analysis. He currently serves on the editorial board of Information Systems Research as an AE.
