Welcome to my home Page and God bless you as you make a tour. I was born in Nchingang- Bamumbu in the southwest province of Cameroon. I graduated from Government Primary School Bechati in 1987. During my last year in the primary school I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal lord and savior. Since then my life has not been the same. I graduated from Our lady Seat of Wisdom College Fontem in 1992 and Government High School Mbengwi in 1994. I obtained a BS degree in geology at the University of Buea in 1999, and a Masters in Earth Sciences with emphasis in Petrology/Volcanology and Environmental Geologic Hazards at the University of Yaoundé in 2001.
During a conference in Yaounde Cameroon in 2001,God impressed in my heart to move out of the country for further studies in the USA (see Testimony). I am a graduate student and a teaching assistant in the Geosciences Department at the University of Texas at Dallas. For the past two years I have worked under the supervision of Dr James Carter, our research involved the use of geochemical techniques in mineral exploration at the Presidio Silver mine in West Texas. I am working under the supervision of Dr. Manton and our research involves the use of Pb, Nd and Sm isotopes to determine the phytoavalaibility of soil Pb to edible crops especially Vitis vinifera and Theobroma Cacao.
In 2000 got married to my beloved wife Elizabeth Tangumonkem and God has blessed us with a son, Afaamboma Tayem and two daughters Ntsongmboma Tayem and Elotmboma Tayem. We all live in Dallas Texas.
