And
He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists,
and some pastors and teachers, for equipping of the saints for the work
of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11,
12)
Vision
Our main vision is making disciples of all nations and equipping them to do the work of the ministry. The last thing Our Lord
Jesus Christ said before leaving the world is found in (Matt. 28:8-20) it says. Then
Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has
been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations
baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy
Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you on to the very end of the age." (Matt. 28:18-20)
Equipping of the saints
For
disciples to be made of all the nations, all the saints of God have to
be involved in the work of the ministry, for all the saints are;
- A Holy priesthood.
You
also like living stones, are built into a spiritual house to be a holy
priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through
Jesus Christ. (I Peter 2:5)
- A chosen people.
But
you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people
belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called
you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (I Peter 2:5)
- Appointed to bear fruit.
You
did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear
fruit that will last. Then the father will give you whatever you ask in
my name. (John 15:16)
