When I am not doing computer science,
I read news magazines, listent to NPR (KERA 90.1),
watch news-related
talk shows (sunday morning spin-doctors), and
of course, spend time with my family and watch Bollywood movies. I am
also interested in Political Science and Macroeconomics
but hardly find the time to pursue them.
One day I hope to do research in these two areas. I also watch college basketball
(Go Tarheels!! National Champions in 1982, 1993 and 2005),
and play racquetball and table tennis.
I also like to read (non-fiction) books. Here are some
that I really liked and that I recommend:
- The Mathematical Century (Odifreddi)
- Surely you must be joking, Mr. Feynman (Feynman)
- Biography of Max Mueller (Chaudhary)
- A Mathematician's Apology (Hardy)
- Men of Mathematics (E.T. Bell)
- The Story of Philosophy (Will Durant)
- The Prince (Machiavelli)
- Emotional Intelligence (Dan Goleman)
