SEMESTER PROJECT FORMAT You must follow the format described in this file for your semester project write-up. Your research paper must be BOUND in book form. NO STAPLED PAGES. It must be typed or use a word processor of some kind. NO HAND WRITING IS TO BE USED IN YOUR PAPER. Schematics must be done with some CAD drawing software or be done by professional drafting techniques in India black ink with Leroy lettering. NO USE OF PENCIL IS ALLOWED. You must label every component (i.e. resistor, capacitor, & transistor) in your schematic on the figure! These labels must be the labels used in your netlist. Sizes of the components are to be on the schematic or in a Table immediately following the schematic in your report. The format is: A front page with a Title, Your Name, EE7329-501, My Name (Dr. Hellums). This is the minimum, you can add more information. A Table of Contents An Introduction: state the problem and give the specs. The Body: Discuss what circuit architecture you chose and why. Show all equations you used to design your amp. Go through the design step-by-step explaining what you did. Show your results in Tables and or Graphs that prove the performance of your design. These MUST be computer generated. NO HAND DRAWN PLOTS. Use scales so that the answer can be read on the plot. Use plotting tool markers to help show the exact value on the plot. Give a Table of your results vs the spec. A Summary & Conclusion APPENDIX: You must include the SPICE netlist for each type of simulation you did (i.e. OP, AC, TR, NOISE, etc.). The OP output for the complete circuit must be included. DO NOT put the SPICE MODELS or the extra stuff in the SPICE output file in your report.
