Jason - I wrote the rough draft. John - All of us had a part in the script. I worked on the narrator's voice script |
| * Who drew the storyboard? |
X |
Jason - I drew the storyboards. Jim - Jason drew the storyboards using his fancy graphics tablet. |
||
| * Who created the planning sheet? |
X |
Jim - John did the planning sheet by hand, I typed it up to put in the process book.
| * Who made the shot list? |
X |
X |
X |
Jason - I helped out on the shot list, I believe. John - We all contributed to the shot list. |
| * Who were the performers? |
X |
Jim - John arranged for Jason Autz and Alissa Davis to perform for us, and for Jay Autz to do the narration.
| * Who were responsible for markers? |

Jason - I directed the first session of performances. John - I did the second session of performances. Jim - When Jason or John needed a break I filled in. |
| * Who cleaned which motion clips? (Add a quicktime or AVI of each motion
clip with the name of the person who cleaned the clip to the process book.) |

Jason - (Quicktime movie of each clip with the name of the person who cleaned it would be good.) We have quicktimes out the wazoo. Hopefully Jim can find these somewhere and put them online. I helped clean both of the T-poses (and boy were they a mess). John - I cleaned up the clips of Jason sitting down in the chair and his whirling panther form. Jim - I did the bulk of the cleaning, but we all cleaned up at least one clip. I was a little dissappointed that we did not have the time to use some really good motion capture data that was taken. |
| * Who blended motions? |
X |
x |
x |
Jim - I did the bulk of the blending, we all cleaned up at least one clip. |
| * Who modeled the characters? |
X |
Jason - I modeled the Skeleton, the Dummy, the helmet, the armor. Jim - What Jason said. |
||
| * Who rigged the characters? |
x |
X |
Jason - I rigged the original characters which were used in some keyframed shots. Many of the other rigs were crappy ones from Motion Builder for the mocap animations. Jim - Jason originally had some killer rigging with his characters, but we were unable to use them with the motion data. I put in some simple rigs that would work with Motionbuilder. |
|
| * Who textured the characters? |
X |
x |
x |
Jim - I'll take most of this one. I did the burlap texture, decal and face on the dummies, and the bone and helm texturing on the Master. Also did his glowing eyeballs. |
| * Who modeled the environment? |
x |
X |
Jim - This was John's doing, but I think he didn't say.
| * Who textured the environment? |
X |
Jim - I'm gonna snag this one. I found a really cool wood texture for the stage, I used procedural textures for the curtains, and I also did the cutouts of the rows of skeletons in the audience.
| * Who lighted the scenes? |
X |
X |
Jason - I don't even remember exactly which scenes I lit up. Any shot that I animated, I touched some lighting (especially the shots that had a blockage of light and I didn't figure it out until too late). John - I lighted the main stage scene and provided the background image for the stage. |
|
| * Who created/edited audio (sound effects, music, etc.)? |
X |
Jim - John did all this. | ||
| * Who rendered all the final frames? |
X |
X |
Jason - I rendered all frames except those belonging to the following shots: 1, 26, 28.
| * Who edited the animation? |
X |
X |
Jason - I helped on editing the animation (and wished I had more time to spend on additional editing, as there were so many shots that had floating characters it was crazy).
| * Who worked on the process book? |
X |
Jim - ME! | ||
| * And anything else your group needed to do for the project. | X |
X |
X |
Jim - We did lots and lots of good stuff. |
| Jason's Comments-> | X |
I edited the animations of all the shots involving the Dummies. It's not
my fault my IK's weren't able to be used in clips, dangit. I spent a ton
of time on those, too. I helped in some of the visual editing and overall direction. I playblasted half of the animations. This does not include the videos of the Dummy-only shots that I also playblasted. I provided the source images of the auditorium seats. I researched additional photographs that could have been used. |

| John's Comments-> | X |
Jim and Jason worked especially hard on the model rigging, modeling, scene key framing animation. I worked on getting the actors together, helped to do some Maya renders/camera work, and cleaning up some of the data and doing the video/sound production. |
