## Surface Sketching Exercises

Use the techniques described in the Surface Sketching Primer to sketch the following.
- A rectangle in the horizontal plane, z=2
- A rectangle in the vertical planes (a) x=1 (b) y=-2
- A cube with center at origin
- A parallelipiped
- A sphere
- An ellipsoid whose axes are the three coordinates axes and which
goes through the points (2,0,0), (-2,0,0), (0,3,0), (0,-3,0),
(0,0,1) and (0,0,1)
- A cereal bowl with a circular rim facing (a) upwards (b) outwards
along the x-axis
- A cylinder aligned with (a) the z-axis (b) the y-axis
- An icecream cone (a) without any icecream (b) with a spherically
shaped scoop of icecream in the top
- A loaf of bread with a rounded top aligned with the y-axis
