Introduction

Analysis and Design of information systems is a time consuming activity. Systems analysis requires broad business and IT knowledge as well as attention to details. Design of a consistent and complete system is a challenging activity. Consistency among system models will be emphasized throughout the course.

Prerequisites

In order to get the most out of the course, it is required that the students have an exposure to software development practices, databases and information systems. Knowledge of an OO programming language is preferred. For this purpose, the prerequisites for this course are:
MIS-6326: Database Management Systems
MIS-6323: Object Oriented Systems
