My Favorite Webcomics

I love webcomics. Okay, I love comics in general, but webcomics are a great vehicle for sharing stories that the general media might not consider commercially viable enough to distribute. Or that contain a lot of profanity. By the way, I've made an effort to keep profanity off my webpages, but if it bothers you, I really, REALLY advise against following any of the links on this page. Not that they all contain profanity, but because I can't guarantee that any of them don't.

The "Active Webcomics" list is actually here more for my benefit than yours - I'm finally sufficiently sick and tired of only having the bookmarks at work and forgetting to check many of them when I'm away (because I can't remember all the URLs). I suppose they provide insight into my personality, but I really don't care about that - I just need my fix! The "Defunct Webcomics" link, on the other hand - that's for y'all. Some strips are just too cool to let rest peacefully once they're done with. The links for those go to the first strip whenever possible, so you can just block out a few hours and plow through the archives.

And yes, I do check all the active webcomics daily. Firefox's tabbed browsing is one of my friends. The artists having lives and not always updating every single day is another. =)
