Linkage for Carburetors
The standard cable system of the carburetors seems quite
unsatisfactory. Getting and keeping the carburetors synchronized
is difficult. Also, if one of the two cables fails, one half
of the engine goes to full power. We do not want to be there when
that happens. Instead, a rod system is used that assures positive
control of the throttles. The rods are easy to make and install, and
they require no maintenance or adjustment except for an occasional
drop of oil for the rod ends.
