I am currently a Doctoral Degree candidate in the Erik Jonsson School of Computer Science.  My research is being conducted in a very challenging area, Data and Application Security, under the guidance of Dr. Bhavani Thuraisingham and Dr. Murat Kantarcioglu.  My research projects and papers have included the topics of Privacy Preserving Data Mining, Intrusion Detection, and Misuse/Fraud Detection. I have worked in the Cyber and Data Application Security Lab since January 2005 and also been working as a teaching assistant since August 2006. My graduation is planned in the spring 2008. I plan to pursue other challenging opportunities and projects in my field of expertise.

My prior education includes earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science at the Northern Jiaotong University in Beijing and earning my Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas in December, 2003.
