2. How to print your schematic and simulation result to postscritpt file

 Install Plot File, download cdsplotinit to your cadence working directory, using textedit copy its content to a new file, then save as .cdsplotinit.

To plot your schematic file, in schematic-composer window, select  FileΰPlotΰSubmit plot, then click the button “Plot options…” , click “Centre Plot” and “Fit to Page”, Selection of Plot Name depend on your need.

a)            If you want to print a black & white ps file, select “Encapsulated_Postscript(EPS)”

b)           To print your file to printer on Solaris lab, select “ljsol-SunOS”.

c)            If you want to print a color file, select “lwee2”, as there is no color printer in Solaris lab, this option can only be used to print a ps color file.

d)           If you want to print a ps a file instead of print out directly, select “Send Plot Only To File”, then input your file name with postfix .ps.

e)            If you do not want to add header to your printing file, deselect “header” in Box “ Submit Plot”.
