As Head of Information Literacy Services at McDermott Library, I coordinate the library instruction program. My responsibilities include instruction and outreach, reference, liaison to the Jindal School of Management, and other duties.

McDermott Library's Information Literacy program provides the University of Texas at Dallas' students, faculty, and staff with assistance in developing library research skills and competent information use as part of lifelong learning. Instruction is offered as personal one-on-one sessions, library tours, or class presentations.

 "Hold fast to dreams
for if they die
life is like a broken-winged bird
that cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
for when they go
life is a barren field
frozen with snow."
by Langston Hughes
