I am a full-time UNIX System Administrator in the Electrical Engineering school at the University of Texas at Dallas, a position I have held since transferring from IR/CaTS June of 2001. My primary duties involve managment of core EE services and servers, Sun Solaris workstations, RedHat Linux workstations, and network management. I am a part of a team of four individuals known informally as EE-Tech (Electrical Engineering Technical Support) that together with CS-Tech manages IT operations for the Eric Jonsson School.
Additionally, I am currently a part-time student working to complete my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon completion I intend on pursuing a Master's of Arts in Apologetics or Philosophy of Religion from either Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada, California, or Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Alternatively, I may pursue a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering at UT-Dallas, with my Master's Thesis focusing on "Applications of Genetic Algorithms in Analysis of Stochastic Processes."
