| Greetings. I work as a reference librarian at UTD's main library. My primary duties include providing reference services to students, faculty, and staff; delivering library instruction; serving as subject liaison/subject specialist to the School of Engineering and Computer Science (including related disciplines, such as nanotechnology and materials science); and providing back-up services for the library's Accessibility Office. I am a native of the Dallas
area (here 20 years), with the rest of my time having been spent at
various schools along the I-35 corridor (San Antonio and Austin). I am currently enrolled in UTD's School of Arts and Humanities as I work on my second graduate degree. As one would expect, I am an avid reader, 'Net surfer,
technophile and gadget go-to guy, professional generalist, and, in
summary, jack of all trades. |
