| Greetings. I work as a reference librarian at UTD's main library. My primary duties include providing reference services to students, faculty, and staff; delivering library instruction; maintaining electronic resources for the library; and maintaining a lease collection of popular reading materials. I also serve as the subject liaison for electrical engineering along with my colleague Carol Oshel, who serves the computer science department. I am a native of the Dallas
area (here 20 years), with the rest of my time having been spent at
various schools along the I-35 corridor (San Antonio and Austin).
On the rare occasion that I get to travel, I love to liberate my inner
self amongst the awe-inspiring natural features of this country's many
breathtaking national
parks. As one would expect, I am an avid reader, 'Net surfer,
journal writer, amateur philosopher, professional generalist, and, in
summary, jack of all trades. |
