• Source synchronization?
  • Each source helps to sustain the glow.
  • Synchronize, anti-synchronize them?
    • Synchronize them to:
      • obtain a “true” pulsed plasma,
      • obtain large Te variation. (Chemistry)
    • Anti-synchronize them to:
      • bring out ions in the turn-off and late afterglow regimes.
      • use chuck source to help ignition.
    • Pulse the source and not the chuck to:
      • keep the I.E.D. more nearly constant.
      • Simplify timing and PS requirements.
