Measuring the Grounded Electrode Sheath Resistance in the GEC Cell

Measuring the Grounded Electrode Sheath Resistance in the GEC Cell

  • Source voltage on probe one and measure current (Iprb1).
  • Measure the floating voltage of probe 2 (Vprb2).
  • Plot Vprb2 vs. Iprb1 and use a linear fit to find the sheath resistance.
  • Measure DC bias voltage using an rf choke.
