As a teacher, I value my students' responses and criticisms and incorporate their ideas into the structure of my classes. I have received outstanding evaluations from my students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and from faculty evaluators.

At UTD, I received a "Superior" rating in teaching from the Dean of Arts and Humanities and an "Excellent" ranking from my pre-tenure review committee. At the University of Missouri-Rolla (a highly ranked technology and engineering school), I received a "Course and Curriculum Improvement" Award from the University of Missouri Board of Regents.

At the University of Oklahoma, my teaching was evaluated as "Superior/Clearly Exceptional." In my first position at Millikin University, I received Provost's Letter of Commendation for Teaching Excellence.
