Hello, I received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1999. I completed my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Tuskegee University in 1992. I worked in industry from 1999 until 2007 as a device engineer in a research and development organization for Motorola SPS until 2002 and then Freescale Semiconductor. Since that time I have been a faculty member in the Jonsson School at UT Dallas where I work on the following topics:
· Designing and fabricating microwave circuits and components for wireless applications
· Packaging for wireless applications
I am active with IEEE MTT-S in the following ways:
·
Women in Microwaves (WIM) 2008, WIM 2009 I
·
MTT-11
·
Education Committee, IMS2009 Student awards banquet
·
GOLD, Graduates of the Last Decade (Survey),
IMS2009 GOLD Panel Session: Financial Investment in Times of Crisis
My
students and I have attended the RWS,
WAMICON, and IMS
in the last two years.
I had the pleasure of spending summer 2009 at
AFRL, Kirtland AFB working with the Air Force
Summer Faculty Fellowship program.
