Create UTD web directories and develop blog page with HTML

Part 1: Set up your WWW directory on the UTD server. Create the following directories (folders) in your UTD UNIX account:

Note:  All of your HTML pages for this course will be posted to your 3351 directory.  Do NOT put an index.html file in your 3351 directory.  All of your images and other hypermedia will be kept in your images directory.

An easy way to set up your 3351 and images directories is to create the empty folders on your C: drive then copy them to the server (apache.utdallas.edu) using FTP on the top folder.

Part 2:  Create a web page named myblog.htm (all lower case) using HTML.  This page should include a simple graphic and a clearly defined link to an external page that has a subject of emoticons (smileys).  Post this page to your 3351 web directory.

Turn in a hardcopy of myblog.htm located on the UTD server in your 3351 directory.  Make sure that your name and URL are on the hardcopy (neatly hand printed name is OK)
