Rebecca S. Horn
Rebecca Horn is a doctoral student in the Cognition and Neuroscience program in
the School of Human Development at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Rebecca has earned both BSN and MSN degrees in nursing and is an Advanced Practice Nurse in
Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
Her cognition and clinical research interests are:
- text comprehension research
- novice to expert knowledge acquisition, analysis and assessment
- semantic analysis of joke structures (what makes a joke funny)
- assessment of communication skill competencies
- trauma and alcohol research
- humor therapy
