Short Biography
I
was born in
Alexandria, Egypt in 1977. I attended Victoria College,
Alexandria, Egypt during the years 1980-1994.
I then joined Faculty of Engineering,
Alexandria University, Egypt where I received
B.Sc.
(honors) and M.Sc. both in electrical engineering
(telecommunications major) in 1999 and 2003, respectively. I
did my military service during the years 2000-2001. I was a
Ph.D. student at University of South Florida during 2004. As
of spring 2005, I am a research assistant at the
Multimedia
Communications Laboratory (MCL), the
University of Texas
at Dallas, USA, where I am working towards my Ph.D.
degree. My academic advisor is
Prof. Aria Nosratinia.
