m36.    How could human health be affected by weather extremes?

Warmer weather could cause disruption of food supplies and fresh water.  Millions would have to move.  Allowing for more tropical diseases would alter disease patterns and the flooding of sewage systems would spread infectious diseases. As upper layers of seawater warmed, typhoons and hurricanes would blow more frequently.  Miami, Galveston, Atlantic City, Charleston and Ocean City, to name a few, would be flooded.
