Population growth is outstripping food production (World POPClock). Food production increase has dropped from 3.5% in 1966-76 to 2.2% in 1980-90 (See Figure 04: Food Energy Pyramid). Adults need 41 grams of protein per day (15% of total diet); 82 grams of eat (30% of total diet), and 150 grams of carbohydrates (55% of total diet). Every 5-10 days hunger related causes kill as many people as the atomic bomb killed at Hiroshima. Americans suffer from over-nutrition.
