Gradebook

Clicking on the "Gradebook" link in the Course Menu takes you to a summary of your scores on graded items, like Assessments, Assignments, and Projects.

Depending on how the Gradebook is set up for a course, you may see different details; however, as in the example above, you will only see your associated scores! (The instructor sees all students' scores in a spreadsheet format. Click on a particular grade to review the item details as needed - and to consider any comments (including file attachments) that your instructor(s) might return to you individually.

Rather self-explanatory for educators, the true benefit of the electronic Gradebook function is that you can track your progress through a course. Different symbols will indicate a certain status for listed items as summarized in the legend at the bottom of the Gradebook page and illustrated below:

If you happen to experience any technical difficulty with an item, it may need to be reset by the instructor before you can complete it. EmbaNet will request that this be done if needed. Typically you will see the "In Progress" icon when this happens, so go ahead and ask about it before the due date is past!
